Creative Direction, Design and Construction.
While working on this project I fell down a Lars Von Trier rabbit hole. Although I was never completely sure of the true meaning behind his ‘Anti-Christ’, I became enthralled with the idea that Eden was created by Satan and Eve was the original femme fatale. She didn’t ask for permission, she unashamedly ate the apple, and embraced her sexuality and role of temptress.
This new obsession led to a collection celebrating the female form—exploring the idea of strength, sensuality and vulnerability through bold prints created in collaboration with photographer Kristin Vicari. Sheer silks are paired with structural leather pieces to exude power and sophistication, symbolizing the Eve in every woman.
