Fashion Design for Pirelli

For the 2011 Pirelli calendar Karl Lagerfeld, shot fifteen supermodels, including Julianne Moore, and five men as different ancient Greek and Roman deities in requisite states of undress—with only objects and expressions to symbolize their godly status.

I was commissioned to design wearable sculptures, responding to the brief of “Mythology: Women and Power’. Julianne Moore was to become Zeus’ wife of Hera and Iris Strubegger, Athena.
